We have a very exciting music program at our school.

Classroom Music

Students from pre-school to year 5 have at least 45 mins a week with our specialist music teacher. Students participate in a developmental music programme where they learn to read, write and create music in a fun and engaging way.

Students have the opportunity to perform at the annual Music Showcase as well as other school and community events.

Parents are invited to participate in their child�s music lesson at Come �n Try Music which is held every second year.

Instrumental Music

Our instrumental programme is a vibrant and flourishing part of school life with many students participating.

Private Tuition is offered in Piano / keyboard, Guitar, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet and Saxophone.

We have a talented, enthusiastic school band which practises once a week during school hours and regularly performs at assemblies, school and community functions.

The band has also performed in the foyer concerts at the Primary Schools Music Festival.

School Choir

The choir is open to year 5,6,7 students and rehearses once a week towards participation in the Primary Schools Music Festival which is held at the Festival Theatre in September. The choir works at a high standard and have had a number of soloists, dancers and comperes chosen for this event.

The choir also performs at the annual Music Showcase, School Assemblies, Anzac Day Dawn Service as well as other community and school events.
